Para mí, esta edición tiene también un significado muy especial. Nuestro reciente viaje a España nos llevó a conocer Heretat Casa Cordelles, un extraordinario espacio histórico para bodas y eventos cerca de Barcelona. Visitar este lugar nos recordó los profundos lazos culturales y educativos que durante décadas han unido a Polk County con España.

El viaje coincidió además con una ocasión muy significativa en lo personal: la celebración de nuestro 50.o aniversario de matrimonio, un recordatorio de que las celebraciones más memorables siempre están profundamente ligadas al amor, la familia y la historia compartida.

Nuestra portada refleja perfectamente ese espíritu. Nos enorgullece presentar a Olivia Butler Jacoby, de Southern Swan Bridal, cuya creatividad y elegancia representan la esencia de esta edición. Su historia es aún más especial porque diseñó su propio vestido de novia, inspirado por el legado de su abuela.

From beautiful venues and talented event professionals here in Polk County to the charm of Spain as a destination for unforgettable celebrations, this issue was created to inspire.

For me, this edition also carries a personal meaning. Our recent journey to Spain brought us to Heretat Casa Cordelles, a remarkable historic venue for weddings and events near Barcelona. Visiting this beautiful place reminded us of the deep cultural and educational connections that for decades have linked Polk County with Spain. The trip also coincided with a meaningful milestone for our family, our 50th wedding anniversary, reminding us that the most memorable celebrations are those rooted in love, family, and shared history.

Our cover beautifully captures the spirit of this issue. We are proud to feature Olivia Butler Jacoby of Southern Swan Bridal, whose creativity and elegance reflect the essence of this edition. Her story is especially remarkable because she designed her own wedding gown, inspired by her grandmother’s legacy.
